The Mauritius symbol

The most famous place of interest in Mauritius is the Natural History Museum. Tourist’s reviews in the Internet say that there everyone can feel a unique ancient atmosphere. So, the museum has the symbol of the island – the Mauritanian dodo, which was exterminated in the 17th century. The bird had been extinct for about 200 years. It is an interesting fact that Lewis Caroll brought in the dodo as a character in Alice in Wonderland.
