Pamplemousses Botanical Garden in Mauritius

If you decide to have some time in Port Luis, you can visit one of the most famous attractions - Pamplemousses Botanical Garden of Sir Ramgoolam Sivosagura. It was constructed in 1768. It is a park with one of the richest collections of native and exotic plants in the world. There are about 500 species. In the park grow water lilies, lotuses, huge “Amazonian Victoria” flowers, and breadfruits.
